Disable Comment for Customer by statuses

Stop customer from writing comments when resolution is set, or on a set of statuses.

 

To disable and hide the comment facility on your customer portal, by certain statuses. This helps you to control when your customers are able to use old request that are already closed. and when to create new ones since the ones are already closed.

  1. Select the Jira icon > Jira settings > Apps or Add ons.

  2. Under Tinker for JSD, click Request Screen

  3. Choose the status that you would like disable comment in the multi select drop down and click save
