Project Space Scheme

A project space scheme defines a set of associations – or mappings – between a space and a project. As a Jira administrator, you can associate projects with different spaces within a project space schemes and then share this association with multiple workflow post functions.

Adding a project space scheme

  1. Select the Jira icon > Jira settings > Apps or Add ons.

  2. Under JCWE, click Project Space Schemes.

  3. Click Add Project Space Scheme.

  4. Enter the name of the new project space scheme.

  5. Click Add to create the new project space scheme. 

 

Configuring a project space scheme

You can use this procedure to edit any project space scheme in the system. Note that editing a project space schemes will automatically create a draft so you don't impact existing workflows. 

  1. Select the Jira icon > Jira settings > Apps or Add ons.

  2. Under JCWE, click Project Space Schemes.

  3. Click Edit for the relevant workflow. 

  4. Edit your workflow scheme as needed

Add a space to the scheme

  1. Click Add Space

  2. Select the desired Space and page (which would be the parent during the creation ) and projects.

Remove a Space from the scheme

Click Remove in the Operations column.

Change the projects associated with a space

  1. Click Assign under Projects for the desired space

  2. Select the desired projects.

  3. Click Finish.

Remove a project from the scheme

Click the x next to the name of the project to remove it.

Save your draft to make your changes live.
