Customfield Space Scheme

A customfield space scheme defines a set of associations – or mappings – between a space and a customfield value. As a Jira administrator, you can associate values with different spaces within a customfield space schemes and then share this association with multiple workflow post functions.

Adding a Customfield space scheme

  1. Select the Jira icon > Jira settings > Apps or Add ons.

  2. Under JCWE, click Customfield Space Schemes.

  3. Click Add Customfield Space Scheme.

  4. Enter the name of the new customfield space scheme.

  5. Choose a customfield from the drop down to map its options

  6. Click Add to create the new customfield space scheme. 

 

Configuring a customfield space scheme

You can use this procedure to edit any customfield space scheme in the system. Note that editing a customfield space schemes will automatically create a draft so you don't impact existing workflows. 

  1. Select the Jira icon > Jira settings > Apps or Add ons.

  2. Under JCWE, click Customfield Space Schemes.

  3. Click Edit for the relevant workflow. 

  4. Edit your workflow scheme as needed

Add a space to the scheme

  1. Click Add Space

  2. Select the desired Space and page (which would be the parent page during the creation of a new page) and customfield options.

Remove a Space from the scheme

Click Remove in the Operations column.

Change the customfields' options associated with a space

  1. Click Assign under options for the desired space

  2. Select the desired options.

  3. Click Finish.

Remove an option from the scheme

Click the x next to the name of the option to remove it.

Save your draft to make your changes live.
