Creating a Multi Project Customfield

To get started with the multi project custom field, the Jira user has to have admin privileges

Instructions

To create a multi project custom field

  1. Select ⚙ (cog that is visible on the top right corner of the nav-bar) > Issues..

  2. Under FIELDS, select Custom fields.

  3. Click Create custom field. Make sure to select All to view the available field options

  4. Search for Project Picker (multiple Projects), select it and click

  1. Name the newly created custom field

The name you select appears as the custom field's title wherever the field appears. The description appears below the field when creating and editing issues, but not when browsing issues.

  1. When you have entered the field details, select Create.

  2. Add the new custom field to one or multiple screens by ticking the corresponding box and click Update.

 

Voila! You have successfully created a Multi Project Custom Field
