SD Agent Settings

( Share with Customer​ | Comment Internally​ )

Default comment type can be global or​by agent

Instructions

To open SD Agent Settings

  1. Select the Jira icon > Jira settings > Apps or Add ons.

  2. Under Tinker for JSD, click SD Agent Settings

 Global Default Agent Comment Type

You may change the default comment type for all servicedesk agents to be internal, (this settings can be changed individually for each agent from their user preference), updating this global setting will effect all service desk agents, unless agent has manually overridden their comment preference

To do so, click on the drop down and then change the default agent comment type to Internal

 

Agent Comment Preference

Agent has the option to manually override the global default comment preference without effecting other users, by going to user profile

1 . Click on the user avatar on the top right corner of the screen

2. Click Profile

3 . Under Tinker Agent Preferences click on the edit logo

4 . Choose from: ( Inherit from global Settings | Share with Customer | Internal Comment )

5. Click Save
